Accommodation And Layout 

Forecabin: 2 x 2 bunks with  locker, drawer and wardrobe.The stable door into the main cabin has been reinforced and makes a watertight bulkhead. Large hatch onto foredeck.

Saloon: In an attractive and unique 'horse shoe' shape with many teak faced locker doors and cupboards. Four rectangular shaped ports, of which two open. The 2 folding leafed table seats 6 to 8. Two of the lockers house stereo speakers & radio/C.D. Opening hatch in the deck head.

Galley: This is open plan with the main cabin with a set of 5 cupboards, top     opening freezer and fridge. Force 10 (Canadian) 4 burner cooker, large oven & grill, by Calor gas.Large hatch in deck head.2 sinks. 
There are 2 refrigeration/compressor systems (the 3 large holding plates have 2 sets of freon R12 cooling pipes inside) 
a)  Main engine driven Sanden SD507 compressor
b) A Grunert 1/2 H.P compressor driven by 220v A/C from the Westerbeke 5KVA generator ( which also charges the 5 batteries )
2 strong points for a safety belt.

l Kiddle dry chemical extinguisher.

Heads:  Opposite the galley. l Raritan lavatory. H.& C. pressure water to wash basin and shower.   Shower curtain and shower sump.    Opening port hole.
3 large cupboards, one containing the water maker.

Wet locker: is aft of the heads, with deep cupboard above.

Aft cabin: is behind the wet locker, starboard side & contains a double bed, with drawer and locker below, plus a reserve water tank of about 25 gal & stop cock.
Also 2 wardrobes, 2 large mirrors, dressing table with 2 drawers & locker below. 
A deck head hatch & opening port hole, & air vent from airscoop/dorade box.
The NAVTEX set is over the dressing table & a Kidde dry chemical fire extinguisher on fwd bulkhead.

Quarter berths x 2: are on  the opposite side to the aft cabin. Also 5' fold up pipe cot.

Navigation/Chart table: is just ahead of the portside quarter berth. The table has a deep section underneath for charts. There is a switch & circuit breaker panel behind the cupboard door, plus the GPS & radios.  A second panel contains controls & switches for the Stowe trailing log; shore power/ships power switch. A/C Voltmeter & ammeter, which is part of 3 matching panels by Newmar. The controls & instruments for the Westerbeke generator are here also, as well as the switches controlling a 65 amp Heart battery charger/inverter.

Main bilge:  At least 5’deep, with 4 bilge pumps plus the main engine’s raw water system which will draw off the bilge water in an emergency. Of the 4 pumps, one is by hand, the other 3 are electric.  One of these also pumps out the shower sump.

 
Electronics and Navigational Equipment   

G.P.S (Trimble Navtrac), Furuno Radar, Sextant with sight reduction tables,  Sestrel Major Compass, Stowe trailing log and wind instruments, Stowe depth sounder and voltmeter, Walker trailing log, Lokata  D/F set, Nasa Navtex and Mini  hand bearing compass.
Icom M 56 VHF with International & U.S. frequencies, 2 wx channels and scanning facility, Kenwood TKM 707 SSB H/F c/w antenna tuner, Panasonic radio/cassette player, C.D. player & stereo speakers, JVC 14" screen multi system T.V and JVC video cassette player VHS.

Cockpit: Quite large with a forward bridge deck & 2 washboards in the companionway.2 cubby holes, 2 deep lockers & a wide lazarette containing the gas cylinder and all the lines. It is 9’6’ long & the side seats over the lockers are 6’ long (1.8m)
Throttle & engine instrument panel is to starboard of the helm with the starter & cut off switches inside the starboard locker for security & dryness.
Behind the cockpit are 2 davits (Simpson Lawrence) & and Aries wind vane autopilot.  This also can be controlled by an ingenious use of an Autohelm 800.
Below the A/P are 3 carved name boards in teak.  There is a  hand bilge pump and a Y valve for pumping out the holding tank if shore facilities are unavailable.
Wheel steering. S/S bimini frame c/w blue/white sunbrella cover.

Sails: Eight Roller furling 110% genoa (North Sails), Cruising spinnaker c/w snuffer, No.1 jib & storm jib (piston hanks for inner forestay), Mainsail, Trysail,  Mizzen staysail, Harken roller furling system.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT:    406 Mhz E.P.R.B, 6 life jackets & 2 harnesses, l lifebelt with light, B.E.L.L throwing line (floating), Sea Anchor, Tinker sailing life raft with canopy, 2 signal pistols c/w white & red flares (time ex), 2 parachute flares, hand held flares,1 heliograph and 1 powerful search light/signaling lamp.
